Hubble

Hubble is a social app that connects friends on college campuses based on their location. Users check in to their location on campus and their location is then shared on a map in the app with their friends. Users can also search where their friends are on campus and get notified when a friend checks in to their location.

    Arnab Banerji '19

    Arnab is a rising sophomore at Princeton University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. On campus, he is a part of the Robotics Club, and acts in the Princeton South Asian Theatrics company. He looks forward to applying his coding skills and mobile development experience to building the Hubble app.

    Vivek Dinodia '17

    Vivek is an international student from India and currently a rising senior at Princeton University. He is majoring in Economics and plays for the Varsity Squash Team here. Last summer, he co-founded Forthenvironment, a social non-profit that aims at recycling waste paper in schools in India. He shall be working on the sales, marketing and business development of Hubble. He is thrilled to be a part of the Proximate team and looks forward to an exciting summer.

    Alaap is a rising junior studying computer science at Georgia Tech. Computer science has completely changed the way he sees the world and solutions to its problems. He wants to use his education to make the world a safer, happier, and progressive place.

    Pragya Saboo '17

    Pragya is an international student from Kolkata, India and currently a 5th year Industrial and Systems Engineering student at Georgia Tech. At Georgia Tech, she is involved with Student Ambassadors, Student Government, and is also doing research on redesigning web-based technologies for blind and visually impaired users. In the summer of 2015, Pragya co-founded "For the Environment," a social non-profit that aims at recycling waste paper in India. Previously, Pragya also interned with Ernst and Young and Waste Management. At Hubble, she will be working on the backend development, UI/UX design and will be handling operations as well. She is extremely excited to be a part of the team and looks forward to a rewarding summer.

    Daniel Wood '18

    Daniel is a junior in the Computer Science Department at Princeton and one of the co-founders of Hubble, which originated in the class Introduction to Entrepreneurship. He loves solving real problems and as a member of multiple performing arts groups on campus, he is passionate about unifying colleges by connecting students and increasing attendance at events. He has a background in computational research and online security, and a special interest in entrepreneurship. Daniel is originally from Boston, MA, and has an identical twin brother, Evan, at Princeton.
