Lunch Talk: Joe Kennedy '81, Former CEO of Pandora

The Keller Center is pleased to welcome Joe Kennedy '81, former CEO of Pandora, back to the Princeton campus on Wednesday, March 29th. Mr. Kennedy will be a guest in one of the Keller Center's entrepreneurship courses and will share his entrepreneurial experiences with students over lunch in the Dean's Conference Room 114, Friend Center. This event is open only to Princeton University undergrad and grad students and registration is required.
About the Speaker
Joe Kennedy was chief executive officer of Pandora from 2004 to 2013, during which time he transformed what was originally a maker of discovery software for retail music kiosks into the most popular internet radio service in the world. Pandora went public on the NYSE in 2011. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Kennedy served as president and chief operating officer of E-LOAN, one of the first internet lending companies. E-LOAN went public on the NASDAQ in 1999. Prior to that, Mr. Kennedy served in various positions in sales and marketing at Saturn Corporation, an automobile manufacturer; joining the company in 1985, five years prior to the initial product launch, he was among its first 35 employees and initially was responsible for product management; he eventually served as the vice president of sales, service and marketing from 1995 to 1999, during which time annual revenue grew to over $4 billion. Mr. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
