Wei Tang is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science from Professor Margaret Martonosi’s group at Princeton. His thesis work focuses on combining quantum computing and classical computing to run large applications that are otherwise intractable using existing stand-alone quantum or classical computing resources. His works have won numerous awards, and vast industry and academic attention. Wei researched high-energy physics and quantum computing at CERN, Argonne National Lab, IBM, and Amazon. Prior to Princeton, Wei completed both Physics and Computer Science bachelor degrees at Duke, where he witnessed the 2014 Blue Devils championship run.
