Geoff Yang '81, co-founder of Redpoint Ventures and founder and principal of LaneOne, will visit the Princeton campus on December 7th for coffee and conversation. The conversation will be moderated by Keller Center Entrepreneurship Specialist, Derek Lidow ’73 and is open to graduate students, faculty, and postdocs.

Geoff Yang Bio
Yang has backed companies since their founding including Arista,, Bluefin, Calix, Efficient Frontier, Foundry Networks, Excite, Juniper Networks, Machinima, MySpace, and TiVo. He currently serves on the boards of Redpoint portfolio companies Electric Imp, Scribd, TasteMade, and Victorious; as well as AT&T, Esquel Group, and Franklin Resources (Franklin Templeton Funds).
Currently chair of the Princeton Entrepreneurship Council Alumni Advisory Board, Yang has served as director of the National Venture Capital Association, president of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists, and a member of the President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee for the United States. He has also served as a member of the Advisory Council for the Stanford Graduate School of Business and chairman of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund.
He holds a BSE from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University.
