Internship Description
Dealshare is planning to make significant investments in building a gamified shopping experience for the Indian customer. Our thesis is that, while about a billion Indians have access to the internet from a mobile device, not a lot of them have an affinity for online shopping, and we hope to change that by building a shopping experience that is intuitive, engaging, and rewarding in the real world.
The software development engineer intern will be working on one or more gamification features to drive new user growth and/or to increase user engagement, will be guided on the tech solutioning by a senior engineer, and shall help with implementation of the feature. The intern will also learn about the software development and release life cycle as part of the process, help with releasing the feature to the user after evaluation (AB or a suitable mechanism), and fix critical issues, if any, post release of the feature.
