Speaker Bio

Minda Brusse has translated her startup operating experience into venture investing and fund management. She co-founded the venture firm First Row Partners and is a Venture Partner at 2048 Ventures. Previously, she held leader roles as an angel and fund manager within Grubstakes and the Seattle Angel Conference. This spring, Minda co-founded The $1k Project, a volunteer collective that directs cash relief to vulnerable families impacted by the pandemic. As of December 2020, they have helped $3M get to families in need.

Minda's career began with professional internships and management consulting. She began to work in tech startups in the late 1990s and has been a "lynchpin" employee or co-founder five times since then. Always a generalist that combines curiosity with critical thinking, Minda enjoyed advising and supporting founders along the way. She is also passionate about civic and community service, the visual arts, and tennis.
