Join the Keller Center in welcoming James Cole '12 and Founder of The Hub, a company that connects a community of 39,000 photographers to thousands of brands that need top-notch content. The Hub is a PSIP internship host this summer. Attendees will hear about the path that James took from Princeton University Art Major (one of two in his 2012 class) to a job at a large advertising company, to joining the startup world, and to becoming founder of his own startup. James’ presentation focuses on four entrepreneurial lessons, the last of which he feels is also the most important life lesson he has learned to date.

Requests for accommodations can be made when you register to attend. Please provide at least 7 days advance notice.

Speaker Bio

James Cole has always been fascinated with connecting dynamic, creative people. In his personal life he hosts dinner parties and plans trips for groups of friends.

At work, James started in creative Advertising at Y&R in NYC, then ran Content for We Heart It. It was at We Heart It that James realized the power of a small army of young, talented creators shooting together. This lead him to found The Hub in 2016. The Hub is a community of 40,000 photographers who create content for the top brands in the country.

Outside of work James sits on boards, advises, and mentors emerging entrepreneurs. He focuses specifically on mental health and the environment as those are two areas of focus very near to his heart.

James graduated from Princeton University in 2012 with a joint degree in Art and Art History. There he focused on photography and videography. He also sang a cappella with Shere Khan.
