This workshop will present the basics on starting, growing, and protecting your company, and will touch upon topics such as:

  • Founder agreements and when to initiate them; compensation, equity, stock option vesting; what happens if the team splits up.
  • Legal topics around raising capital, such as equity formation, term sheets, etc.
  • Commercial and Intellectual Property (IP) issues such as non-disclosure agreements (CDAs), patents, invention assignment, etc.

Speaker Bio

Dror Futter focuses his practice on SMB’s, including startups, and their investors, and has worked with a wide range of technology companies. His fifteen years’ experience as in-house counsel includes positions with Vidyo, Inc., a venture-backed videoconferencing company, and New Venture Partners, a venture fund focused on corporate spinouts. Prior to that, Mr. Futter was Counsel to the CIO of Lucent Technologies, as well as supporting parts of its sourcing organization.
