At NuHeal we’ve worked closely with physicians, patients, and experts in material sciences and manufacturing to design the NuBoot, a truly human-centered orthopedic walker boot. Many existing orthopedic walker boots excessively immobilize joint-related injuries, causing unnecessary and sometimes permanent complications that lengthen healing time such as deterioration of cartilage, atrophy, contractures and loss of joint motion. The NuBoot facilitates appropriate transition from complete immobilization to therapeutic and natural joint motion. It also features immense comfort and usability improvements, which aim to promote compliance, ease the healing experience, and improve patient outcomes. In the future, we plan to incorporate our exciting proprietary technologies into other medical devices for lower-leg injuries and beyond.
