After growing up in Arlington, Virginia, Alex earned his bachelors degree from the Caltech Physics department in 2017 where he focused on designing novel types of solar cells. He is currently a 5th year PhD candidate in the Houck lab at Princeton University. His research focuses on enabling the quantum revolution by limiting losses in the fundamental building blocks of quantum computers.
