What attracted you to the Keller Center?
One of my passions working in the technology industry has been leading and managing people. The Keller Center focus on entrepreneurship is a great place to help the next generation of leaders be successful. Sharing my experiences and advising students on their exciting initiatives is a great way to leverage the many skills I have developed over decades of working in fast-paced, innovative global organizations.
How are you involved with the Keller Center?
I mentor students in the eLab program and provide guidance to students that need help during the academic year.
What do you appreciate most about the Keller Center?
The programs, resources and opportunities the Keller Center offers are excellent. The staff works extremely hard, and the Princeton University community is fortunate to have such a robust program in place that focuses on societal impact through entrepreneurship.
Share an inspiring story about your time at the Keller Center.
One of the eLab teams I mentored had to "pivot" their focus halfway through the program when they learned that regulatory issues would not let them successfully target a particular market segment. The team quickly altered their solution and successfully addressed another target market that would benefit from their offering. The team rose to the challenging situation they were in and did not get "derailed."
How have you benefited from your involvement with the Keller Center?
I have developed wonderful relationships with the students I have mentored and get a lot of satisfaction seeing them succeed with their projects. I just attended the wedding of one of the students I mentored and expect our connection to continue even though their involvement at Keller has completed - lifelong relationships can be made working with these incredible students!
What are your current career interests?
Currently I am an independent consultant doing marketing and new business development engagements.
