Internship Description

We are seeking a driven and passionate Data Science Intern to help our team in extracting meaningful insights from large datasets, building predictive models, and helping develop data-driven solutions. In addition to providing opportunities to contribute to actual initiatives that have a quantifiable impact, this internship will provide practical experience in data analysis, machine learning, and model deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Exploration: Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Modeling & Prediction: Assist in building, testing, and optimising machine learning models for predictive analytics.
  • Data Visualization: Create data visualisations and dashboards to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  •  Research & Development: Explore and experiment with new tools, libraries, and methodologies to enhance data processing and analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the data team, engineers, and product teams to integrate data science solutions into production environments.
  • Documentation: Document methods, processes, and findings for internal use and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or R; familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
  • Data Handling: Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis; SQL knowledge is preferred.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and data modelling.
  • Visualisation Skills: Ability to create visualisations with python libraries or tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Eagerness to tackle complex problems with a structured, data-driven approach.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly.
