Crosslayer Labs is a novel security analytics and real-time detection platform designed to protect critical web resources (websites, APIs, services) from hijacks. Web hijacks are a persistent threat often leading to millions of dollars in damages (like when the Klayswap crypto platform lost two million dollars due to a hijacked javascript file). Sadly, existing network monitoring falls short because it doesn’t account for the complexity of real web services (e.g., software supply chain, 3rd party hosting etc.) and focuses on uptime monitoring (is my service online) instead of detecting security threads. Using technology developed by our group at Princeton University, Crosslayer Labs analyzes the threat surface of web services, shows system operators the vulnerabilities of their systems, and continuously monitors signals at all layers of the network stack to detect a compromise.
