What do you appreciate most about the Keller Center?
I appreciate the opportunity to grow as a thinker the most. The Keller Center provides people with what they need to succeed, and they allow you to do it the way you want to. There are many ways to attack a problem, and the Keller Center taught me there's always more than one way to get there.
What advice would you have for students about getting involved at the Keller Center?
If you want to get involved with the Keller Center, make sure you come in with an open mind. Every day, your creative limitations will get pushed by the people around you and the staff at the Keller Center. The Keller Center provides many opportunities to learn where you want to, and your mindset coming in will be much different than when you leave. It is very open and fun, so make sure to enjoy your time while in the Keller Center.
How have you benefited from your involvement with the Keller Center?
I learned how to indulge on research because of my time at the Keller Center. While the atmosphere is very open and people will always communicate about what can potentially benefit the next step of your project, it's crucial to be able to put your head down and bulldoze through what you need to do. There's a time for talking, and there's a time for putting in work. The time you put in when you have it to come with the best work possible will set your team up for the most success, and I learned how to do just that this summer.
