Internship Description
NoTraffic’s hardware group handles all R&D aspects of the hardware in products. Hardware group is part of R&D and collaborates with all the SW teams and an Engineering group. As a Technical Illustrations Specialist in the Hardware group you will have the opportunity to take part in modeling, drafting and assembling all of Mechanical Hardware NoTraffic is dealing with.
What you will be doing:
- Convert technical specifications into CAD parts and drafts
- Design harness and cable assemblies
- Ensure compliance of NoTraffic drawings with ASME latest standards
- Write engineering documents, illustrations, and instructions
- Take part in design of testers, packagings, factory fixtures, trays, and jigs
- Model NoTraffic future installation road-level infrastructure and environments
- Build special ad-hoc mechanical fixtures
- Implement design changes into engineering ECOs
- Build and manage CAD component libraries
- Manage / update drawing templates within Solidworks
- Propose new and support existing best practices for CAD and drawing creation
Additional Requirements
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Experience with other software environments such as CAD collaboration tools (PDM/PLM)
- Strong Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing drawing expertise
- Experience in electrical harnesses and wiring
You’d be a good if you have:
- Thorough approach into CAD and drafting deliverables
- Excellent mechanical workmanship and hands-on skills, capability of assembling parts and systems
- High skills in Hebrew and English, speaking and writing
- Team player spirit
- Capability of working independent
