Tensegrity structures balance discrete compression elements with continuous tension components, resulting in lightweight, flexible designs with a high strength-to-weight ratio. Despite their advantages, assembly challenges related to their complex forms have limited widespread adoption. Morphex addresses this problem with 4D printing technology, enabling the rapid and precise fabrication of tensegrity materials at various scales. This breakthrough opens new possibilities for applications in construction, medical devices, and consumer products.
