We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Andrea Goldsmith, Dean of the School of Engineering, on her appointment as the seventh president of Stony Brook University, approved yesterday by the SUNY Board of Trustees.
Throughout her tenure, Dean Goldsmith has been a steadfast champion of Keller Center’s mission, supporting our efforts to create societal impact through design, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
We’re especially pleased that her announcement highlighted the Design for Impact (DFI) program as a key SEAS initiative. Co-directed by Nena Golubovic and Manish Bhardwaj, DFI has supported some of Princeton’s most visionary faculty dedicated to tackling complex societal challenges through an interdisciplinary, impact-driven approach.
Next week, four DFI teams will join our Masterclass for Scaling Impact, a four-day workshop led by accomplished entrepreneur Chris Kuenne and seasoned venture investor Nena Golubovic. Teams will refine their ventures through an iterative process, gaining a systems-level framework for sustainable growth and long-term impact.
