What attracted you to the Keller Center?
Honestly, I didn’t really know much about the Keller Center before this summer. I mostly thought that it was an engineering-focused program, but I am glad to say that it is much more than that. So what attracted me to it? The fact that it’s all about problem solving. Princeton teaches you a lot of theory whether it’s in STEM, social science, or the humanities. Programs such as the Keller Center’s Tiger Challenge however help you apply your knowledge to do good in the world and thus embody Princeton’s motto of serving the nation and humanity.
What advice would you have for students about getting involved at the Keller Center?
Reach out to students who have participated in the Keller Center’s programs talk to them about their experience. Reach out to program coordinators and learn about the programs they offer. Then choose (this is by far the hardest part because there are so many great programs).
How have you benefited from your involvement with the Keller Center?
I learned about social innovation, design thinking, and team/community building!
What are your academic or career goals?
I plan to go to medical school and work in healthcare policy.
