How are you involved with the Keller Center?

I am involved with the Keller Center through working on my medical device startup Invictis Technologies. I participated in the eLab Incubator program and then the 2019 eLab Accelerator program with my company. Beyond this, I spoke about entrepreneurship and my experiences on a panel to the Keller Center Advisory Council and have taken many Keller Center entrepreneurship courses throughout my time here. I also spoke at TigerTank, giving a presentation to the Princeton Alumni Giving Committee, as well as presenting at the 2019 Innovation Forum.

Share an inspiring story about your time at the Keller Center.

When I first had the idea for Invictis, I had no idea what to do. I didn’t even know if it was technologically feasible to build such a device. I reached out to the Keller Center on a whim hoping to speak to someone about my idea. Almost immediately, I was connected to someone from the Keller Center and was invited in for a meeting. I shared my idea and was instantly connected to a plethora of engineers and mentors who have proven to been extremely helpful in bringing my startup to life over the past few years.

What advice would you have for students about getting involved at the Keller Center?

To make the first move in reaching out and getting involved. The Keller Center is not going to find you. If you are really passionate about entrepreneurship of bringing an idea to life, then you need to take the first step in getting involved. It can be as simple as sending an email saying you have an idea you want to share. Once you do this, the rest is smooth sailing and you will be showered with amazing mentorship, guidance, and resources.
