Dmitri Tymoczko is a composer, music theorist, programmer, and improviser. He is Professor of Music at Princeton University and external professor at the Santa Fe Institute. He is the author of two books, A Geometry of Music (2011) and Tonality: an owner’s manual (2023), numerous articles, including the first two music-theory articles ever published by Science, and four CDs.
