How are you involved with the Keller Center?
This summer, I participated in Tiger Challenge. I was searching for summer internships and was excited at the thought of applying design thinking to societal issues. I learned so much and am so grateful for my Tiger Challenge experience. Although I graduated in June, I hope to stay involved in this project.
What advice would you have for students about getting involved at the Keller Center?
Do it! You will learn so much about the world through entrepreneurship. This is a great community and a unique and valuable opportunity.
How have you benefited from your involvement with the Keller Center?
I had an amazing experience this summer! I learned so much from our workshops on empathy, design, and synthesis. Additionally, my team and I interviewed a variety of stakeholders including students, parents, teachers, researchers, health professionals, and politicians (including Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi '95). I really enjoyed working with my teammates to research and synthesize the vaping epidemic.
