What attracted you to the Keller Center?
I was intrigued by the process of design thinking. I had heard of the term used as buzz words before, but didn't really know what it looked like or how it might be used. In addition to this curiosity, the opportunity to tackle structural, pressing societal issues through Tiger Challenge motivated me to join the Keller Center.
How are you involved with the Keller Center?
With five amazing teammates (who are now close friends!), I am a member of the E-QUIP team. Our vision is to enable a vape-free youth culture.
What do you appreciate most about the Keller Center?
I deeply appreciate the creative, open, and collaborative environment. Our superstar director, Jessica Leung, creates this special space of psychological safety and inspires me to be adaptable, dedicated, and to have fun at work! I also learned that design thinking is useful not only for solving some of society's most wicked problems, but also can be applied to our own lives. The refreshing transparency, open communication, and celebration of differences emphasized in Tiger Challenge has enabled me to gain confidence and grow as an individual and team player.
