ABOUT
Over 5 days, 13 students from the Princeton community had the opportunity to explore Boston's technology ecosystem. The group visited 15 locations, including big companies such as Google and Kensho, startups such as Joro and Inrupt, and research labs such as the Human Systems Lab and the MIT Media Lab. The visits spanned a variety of disciplines, from robotics and space systems to biotech. The trip gave us direct exposure to the industrial development and academic research surrounding breakthrough technologies. It allowed us to engage with tech experts from visiting prominent companies and labs within the Boston ecosystem. Our goal was to give the participating students a grasp of how drastically our world will change as a result of new technologies in the fields of AI, biotech, robotics, finance and space. We achieved this goal and encouraged the students to think about the ethical implications of recent breakthroughs.
