ABOUT
During PEID the Green Metropolis 2019, a diverse collection of scholars who were passionate about environmentalism formed teams and collaborated on formulating solutions to the pressing issues in urban cities. For example, Beijing's single-use plastic plastic products have contributed to the growing amount of waste. The team, Carbon Cracker, invented a new APP to incentivize using reusable containers than to using plastic ones. Through the challenge of working together in multidisciplinary teams, we created the next generation of leaders who are better equipped to tackle the inherently complex and interdisciplinary nature of our socioenvironmental issues.
