The path to completing a product or service can be a messy one, and it should be! One of the most important parts of the process of creating something new is the act of creation itself. It can also be the hardest part. What do I make? How do I make it? How do I find out if it is any good?

When we are passionate about our ideas, we want them to be perfect before sending them off into the world. It is easier and more fun to refine the idea than it is to expose it to criticism. The reality is, we want to create “minimally viable products” that capture the core of our ideas and prove their validity. We have to learn quickly and early what is working and what is not.

Attend this talk to learn more about what a prototype is, different methods of making them, and how to identify what to test first, and what to address later.

Requests for accommodations can be made when you register to attend. Please provide at least 7 days advance notice.
