Maryam Elfeki obtained her Ph.D. in natural product discovery at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Seyedsayamdost group at Princeton University. Her previous research focused on redesigning the process of sample collection to maximize chemical diversity and minimize cost. Also, she worked as a commercialization analyst at the Office of Technology Management, UIC, and has interned at Aspire Capital, LLC, a private investment firm that invests in publicly traded biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
