I hope to create an animated film as well as a graphic novel that exposes the problems with the juvenile justice system in America. This project is about the serious long-term harm that being locked up as a youth does to individuals and their families; it is about the significant life disruptions, violence, abuse, and mental health challenges that youth who have been incarcerated face.
